On a sunny Sunday morning, April 9, we held our first gun usage class in Kyiv. During this, we talked about the basic aspects of tactical medicine, with the necessity which civilians may encounter. Of course, we hope that no one has to face such a situation, but in the reality, we live in – it will undoubtedly not be superfluous.
The next point was the safety technique during the use of weapons and getting acquainted with the types of weapons that can potentially be used in civilian life for defence purposes. And finally – the practical part of the lesson. We learned to shoot from a small-calibre rifle (popularly – just from a small-calibre), ArmaLite AR-15, and the Kalashnikov assault rifle.
We remind you that the purpose of the “Civilian Weapon” project is to demonstrate weapons to people, teach them how to use them and make them understand that it is not scary. In addition, we help to decide on the type of weapon depending on the individual characteristics of a person and their property. Primarily, it is about hunting weapons that will be kept at home for self-defence.
Getting a weapon document is not really difficult. There are training centres where, after completing the courses, and passing the exam and medical examination, you can get a document for purchasing a weapon.
