On April 1st, we conducted the first training on familiarizing civilians with firearms in the city of Koriukivka. During the session, we inspired people not to be afraid of firearms, but to know how to handle them. So on Saturday, we introduced people to types of firearms, how they work, and safety techniques. Of course, apart from the theory, there was practice too. In addition, we talked about basic tactical medicine.
The essence of the “Civilian Arms” project is to demonstrate firearms to people, teach them how to use them, and make them understand that it’s not scary. We’re not planning to teach people to kill, to fight.
We will just show what it is and how it works. We are talking, for example, about hunting weapons that will be kept at home for self-defence.
We will also help to choose the type of weapon depending on the individual characteristics of a person and their property. And it’s really not difficult to arrange documents for a weapon. There are training centres where after completing courses, passing exams, and going through medical examinations, you can get a document to purchase a weapon.
So keep an eye on our updates, we will soon be conducting classes in Kyiv. And, of course, we remind you not to forget to donate to our defenders, thanks to whom we are able to train in peace.
